Purple French with Water Decal

Hello Lovelies

My nails were starting to get to a really nice long length (and all intact!) so I took advantage of this rare occurrence and rounded them off some more, more than my usual sqaoval shape and tried more of an oval shape.

From here, I had the best intententions of creating a "dramatic" french tip, however in the end it still looked like an ordinary french tip to me LOL.

I finished off the look with pretty pink flower water decals which I purchased online at KKCentreHk (link below).

Two Shades of Pink...

Hi Everyone,

Another quick post.  Apologies for the terrible photo, but this was taken when my husband went away on a work trip for two weeks and he was wondering what I was doing to keep myself busy while he was away... so I sent him a picture :)

I used a coat of PicturePolish Fairy Floss, then in an attempt to tone that down I applied a layer of OPI I Theodora You, which is a thick sheer pink.

Over all I was pretty happy with the result.

Ingredients Used:
  • Base Coat1 - Orly Bonder
  • Base Coat - OPI Ridge Filler
  • Colour1 - PicturePolish Fairy Floss
  • Colour2 - OPI I Theodora You

#OMD3 - Day 4 - Black & Gold

Every time I think about the theme for today's challenge I keep getting the song "Black and Gold" keeps getting stuck in my head.  lol

Black and Gold are two classic colours and when combined, they reek sophistication.  I feel like slinking into a black, floor length dress and sip martini's at a bar... anyway back to the manicure.  I thought a classic Ruffian manicure would suit this combination perfectly.

I only wish my nails were longer, oh well they're getting there.

my favourite finger :) thumbs up!

Ingredients:
  • Base:  OPI Ridge Filler
  • Gold:  OPI Oy-Another Polish Joke!
  • Black:  OPI Black Onyx

#OMD3 - Day 1 - Teal

This is the first time I've heard of the "Oh Mon Dieu" Nail Art Challenge and it looks like a great one too! I'm getting right on this band wagon.

Day1 is Teal.  So wet with a teal marble affect manicure.  Starting with a base of OPI Fly, I then made my first layer of spotted polish, OPI Ski Teal We Drop.  Then a dash of Silver with OPI Push And Shove, the finally a layer of OPI Black Onyx.

It's a technique I saw on YouTube OhMyGoshPolish do a couple of tutorials and I was inspired.  It's like Water Marbling, well it's exactly the same until you spray hand sanitiser or in my case I used hair spray.

This is the first time I've tried this technique, I really enjoyed the result on my left hand (the photographic of the two) I decided to get the right hand into part of the fun as well.

Ingredients Used:
  • Base:  OPI Ridge Filler
  • Base Colour:  OPI Fly
  • Spotted Marbling:
    • Layer 1:  OPI Ski Teal We Drop
    • Layer 2:  OPI Push And Shove
    • Layer 3:  OPI Black Onyx
  • Top Coat:  Posché

So many layers, it took me 2hrs by the time I finished both hands!  Phew what a marathon!
Looking forward to more of this Nail Art Challenge.
